
More than 270 researchers from many places in the world are attending the congress of the Sociedad Internacional de Finanzas y Banca (IFABS), organized by Universitat de València, Instituto Valenciano de Investigaciones Económicas (IVIE), Universitat Jaume I, and University of Leicester. The first lecture, at 10:00, was read by the Deputy Director-General of the European Central Bank’s Research Department, Philipp Hartmann.
Hartmann focused his lecture, titled ‘Message from MaRs: Towards a new finance-macro synthesis’, on the relation between the financial and macroeconomic variables.
The meeting, from 18th to 20th June at ADEIT’s headquarters, is titled ‘Rethinking Banking and Finance: Money, Markets and Models.’ Presentation and ideas are going to be presented on several topics related to banking and finances like capital markets, asset valuation, global economic crisis or emerging markets, among many others.
