
The University of Valencia, through the Vice-principal office for Academic Regulations and Teachers, hosts the program ‘Campus Inclusivo-Campus sin Límites 2013’ (Inclusive Campus-Campus Without Limits 2013) from 2 to 6 September. The opening ceremony, chaired by the Principal Esteban Morcillo, will take place at the Botanic Garden today Tuesday, May 3, at 10:30 am. This program aims to provide pre-college students with disabilities an opportunity to see firsthand the college life.
The Principal will be accompanied by the Regional Minister for Social Welfare, Asunción Sánchez Zaplana, the president of CERMI CV, Joan Planells Almerich, Deputy Director of Institutional Programs REPSOL Foundation, William Gartland Aznar; and Commissioner for University, Youth and Special Plans ONCE Foundation, Isabel María Martínez Lozano.
The initiative, organized by the Unitat per a la Integració de Persones amb Discapacitat (UPD) of the University of Valencia General Foundation, is divided into holding different educational and informative events, and places of interest to future students
The organization of this campus, free to students selected, is possible thanks to an agreement between the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports, Universidad.es Foundation, the ONCE Foundation and REPSOL Foundation.
