
Yesterday, Rafael Sanjuán Verdeguer, from Cavanilles University Institute of Biodiversity and Evolutionary Biology, was awarded the Idea prize, section ‘Ciencias de la Vida’. His study is titled ‘La Evolución en Acción: Virus, Mutación y Biomedicina’ (Evolution in action: virus, mutation, and biomedicine). These awards are aimed at lecturers and young researchers at Valencian universities.
The Idea prizes are organized by Fundación Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias Comunitat Valenciana and their goal is to promote, boost and support science, technology, art and any other cultural activity implemented within the complex of Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias.
The Idea prizes are aimed at young lecturers and researchers working at any Valencian university, research centre or technology institute at the Valencian Community. The prize tries to encourage their efforts, helps to finish their training and develop future projects.
