The Science Park Foundation publishes a new resources guide for startups

The Science Park Foundation of the Universitat de València (FPCUV) has published a resources guide for the management, development and consolidation of new innovative companies. The Resources Kit for Start-ups explains the conceptual and useful tools that are necessary for the creation of startups and it presents different cases of business success, which is one of the most valuable resources of the guide that can be consulted from the Scientific Park Webpage.

The Kit, which is made from a wide and actualised perspective which studies the complete entrepreneur process, presents many of the key topics and the useful tools for the management, the growth and the consolidation of startups. It includes cutting-edge topics –Lean startup, Effectual logic, born global companies- and classic issues such as the company plan, the negotiation with investors or the peculiarities of the spin-off, among others; and it describes four illustrative and valuable real examples of innovative projects which have achieved the objectives that they set out and consolidated its business initiatives after overcoming the typical entrepreneurship obstacles.

The Resources Kit for Start-ups is a manual of 281 pages elaborated by José María Mateu Céspedes who is an expert engineer of tools for generation and evaluation of business models with more than 25 years of experience in business consultancy. Mateu is author of different works about entrepreneurship, among which the ‘Manual para redactar el Plan de Empresa de una spin-off’ published in 2007 by the Universitat de València can be found.

The guide has been published within the framework of the Incuba2 actions for supporting new enterprises, Scientific Park Foundation of the Universitat de València and can be consulted freely at the Park’s websitewww.pcuv.es (http://ir.uv.es/QhC0VtL).
