
The Servei de Biblioteques i Documentació (Library and Documentation Service) shows on its web site the digitalized manuscripts of the international project ‘Europeana Regia’. The section called ‘El manuscrito del mes’ (the manuscript of the month) shows a balneotherapy treatise dated the end of XV century and titled ‘Nomina et virtutes balneorum Putheoli et Baiarum’.

Europeana Regia is an international project charged of digitalizing Middle Ages and Renaissance manuscripts. It is financed by the European Commission and the Universitat de València’s library is one of the collaborators. The project’s goal is to make three European royal collections accesible through the site Europeana. These collections are: Bibliotheca Carolina, Library of Charles V of France and Library of Aragonese Kings of Naples. The Universitat de València participates in this last collection digitalization.
The project will allow to gather virtually some coherent manuscript groups coming from the same place, regardless their actual place of conservation.
Five institutions are participating in the project: the Bibliotèque Nationale de France (coordinating the project), Bibliothèque Royale de Belgique / KoninklijkeBibliotheekvan België, BayerischeStaatsbibliothek, Herzog August Bibliothek and Universitat de València.
