One more time, Universitat de València is taking part in Fira del Llibre de València, the city’s book fair starting last April 26th, at its usual location in Jardines de Viveros. The fair is running until May 6th. Publicaciones de la Universitat is going to present 13 new books from several collections, which are going to be launched during four different presentation events.
The 50th anniversary of the essay by Joan Fuster Nosaltres, els valencians leads the novelties brought by Publicaciones de la Universitat de València to this year’s Fira del Llibre. Five of the Universitat’s books are related to Fuster’s work. Nevertheless, there are novelties in other knowledge fields, from analytic chemistry to contemporary history.
The Universitat’s publications service has organized four events, from last April 26th, when the opening took place, to the 4th of May. The institution’s stands are 46, 47 and 48 in the Paseo Antonio Machado at Jardines de Viveros.
Today, May the 4th, at 19:30, the history novelties are going to be presented at Sala Museo 1. Encarna García Monerris, lecturer of contempory history at Universitat de València; Ernest Belenguer, full professor of modern history at Universitat de Barcelona; Ferran Archilés, lecturer of contemporary history at Universitat de València, Josep Lozano, writer; and Vicent Olmos, editor in the publication service of UV are the figures taking part in this event.
