The University of Valencia, through the Hall of Poetry, today joins the activities that take place on the occasion of the celebration of the International Poetry Day and has scheduled a poetry evening. The event is held in the room Cesar Simon at the Faculty of Language Studies, Translation and Communication of the University of Valencia. Admission is free and limited to the capacity of the room.
Activities will start at 18.30 with the conference "Between the 'air arms' of the moment and love as 'young lion': Reflections on contemporary Romanian poetry" and poetry reading, by Ioana Gruia, professor and poet of the University of Granada.
Then, and after 22:00, there will be an open reading poetry so that students can read their own or others' poems, in any language, so as not to limit creativity. An evening dedicated to poetry to celebrate International Day of this art.
