Calender for implementation and phasing out
The upgraded curriculum for the undergraduate degree in Food Science and Technology will take effect in the 2009-2010 academic year. According to Article 11.3 of the Royal Decree 1497/1987, of 27 November, the curriculum leading to an official 5-year degree in Food Science and Technology at the University of Valencia will be phased out, as published in the Official State Gazette (BOE) of 11 November 1999. The introduction and the phasing out process of the undergraduate degree will be carried out in the following way: in 2009-2010 the 1st year of the undergraduate degree will be introduced; in 2010-2011 the 2nd year of the undergraduate degree will be introduced and the 1st year of the 5-year degree will be phased out; in 2011-2012 the 3rd and 4th of the undergraduate degree will be introduced and the second cycle of the 5-year degree will be phased out.
