A degree-holder in Information and Documentation is aware of the theoretical principles and techniques that are needed to search for, organise and evaluate information, as well as to understand how to plan the systems, units and services dedicated to information. They will also apply and use information technologies and understand production and information diffusion processes.
The theoretical subjects include participative classes, historical text commentaries and complementary activities that facilitate understanding and contribute to global assessment.
Students will carry out a mandatory work placement/internship (12 credits), which provides insight to the following professional fields: libraries, information and documentation centres, files, etc. in both public administration and private sectors.
