Agenda UV

The Seasonal Universities programme comes to Requena once again this year, in its third edition, thanks to the collaboration between the Universitat de València, the Requena City Council, the Valencian Provincial Council, Caixa Popular and the Gastronomic Club (UV). We met, as usual, at the Feliciano A. Yeves Cultural Space of Requena (Avda. del Arrabal, 9) to talk about 'Wines of yesterday and today'.

Following the success of the opening edition in 2020 ('Innovation, culture, women and society') and the success of the second edition in 2021 ('Chemistry in winemaking'), in this third edition we propose, on 24 November, from 5:30 p.m., a journey through wines throughout history, from their origins to the present day.

Finally, we will have the opportunity to enjoy a tasting of wines from different historical moments, the result of different cultural traditions, offered by the Gastronomic Club of the Universitat de València. The 3rd Autumn University of Requena will be attended by professors and researchers from the Universitat de València and by professionals and experts from the wine sector of the region who are committed to the territory and to the production of quality wines.
