In the life of the tale we will analyse conflictive relationships and the blurred borders that can be found between the construction of a story and short stories, fiction stories and novel, myth and philosophy, autobiography, biography and tales.
The objective of this seminar, aside from making known and broadening knowledge on the relationships of the thematic subjects, such as history, autobiography, stories, fiction and reality, attenders will be provided with tools for a critical awareness, the use of hermeneutics for contemporary documents and of a knowledge on the practice of cross cultural studies, of the visual studies and comparative theories (comparative philosophy and comparative literature), and of course of political discourses (feminist and post-colonialist), through literary, essay and audiovisual material (movies, visual artists' works), with the goal of producing its own discourse and a multidisciplinary and hybrid way of working for future researches, commissions and cultural projects.
