You can now apply for the Santander X call for proposal aimed at entrepreneurs and university researchers.  

The deadline for submitting applications for this call is April 16, 2026.

Who can participate?

The representative or team that meets at least one of the following requirements will be eligible for an award:

•  At least one person from the participating team must be a current student or a graduate of Universitat de València, who graduated no more than 5 years ago
• At least one person from the participating team much be a faculty member, researcher, or Technical, Management, and Administrative and Support Staff (PTGAS) at the UV
• At least one person from the participating team must have a formal linkage with any of the Universities
• At least one person from the participating team must be current entrepreneur or mentor at one of the universitie

Additionally and in any case:

• At least one person from the participating group must be a Spanish resident 
• The candidates must meet all the criteria the criteria listed in the section on the awarding of prizes.

For the candidates' entrepreneurial projects, they must meet at least one of the following requirements:

• Be an entrepreneurial project in the validation phase prior to market launch, with disruptive potential and high scalability, that has a Minimum Viable Product (MVP), or be legally incorporated as a company that has not yet generated revenue or raised capital
• Have a conceptual prototype that that allows for the validation of the solution with potential customers.
• Be an entrepreneurial project focused on the development and/or the production of new goods or services for the market, using cutting-edge scientific or technological knowledge.
• Be an entrepreneurial, innovative project based on feasible and credible new technology, a new technological application, a new business model, or a new process. The maturity of the technology will be referenced along with any patents or IP strategies associated with the solution
