Open Source Software (OSS): Analysis of the legal aspects and their practical application in IT projects

 

The use and development of software with open code licences has transformed software development during the last years. But its usage is subject to the enforcement of certain legal obligations, which are not always known or met by the users. This talk deals with the challenges that the use of OSS implies, focusing on the legal aspects, the use of this type of products in the companies, as well as in the processes to follow to ensure the compliance of the obligations imposed by the thousands of licenses in the market.
