The revolution of quantum computing in the financial market

First presentation session of the QAVA project, that will address how quantum computing affects the financial field.

 

In this session, the work carried out by the QAVA research group of the Universitat de València will be presented.

It consists of a project in which physics, technology and finances meet to address the challenge of understanding and managing the financial risk nowadays.

The presentation will be carried out by Miguel Ortuño –full professor of Physics and former teacher–, Ginés Carrascal –Quantum Computational Scientist & Architect in the IBM Quantum–, Joaquín Vila –Strategy adviser in QAVA–, and Juan José Lull Noguera –professor of the Universitat Politècnica de València and member of the QAVA research group–.

The event will take place on 12 May from 10:00am to 1:00pm, at the Sánchez Ayuso room of the Faculty of Economics.
