Seminar Nobel Prize Eric Maskin
Professor Eric Maskin will give the seminar: ‘An Introduction to Mechanism Design’ on 1 June at 11.30 a.m. at the Ignasi Villalonga Hall of our Faculty.
Professor Eric Maskin was awarded in 2007 with The Sveriges Riskbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel, also known as the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences, or more colloquially and generally accepted, Nobel Prize in Economics.
Thanks to the sponsorship given by Fundación Premios Rei Jaume I, in which Eric Maskin participates in the jury for the Economics Prize, we will be able to enjoy the expertise of this illustrious American economist, who is teacher of Social Sciences in the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton since 2001.
Doctor Maskin is an engineer of Economics that designs decision-making mechanisms within organisations to achieve a good governance. Precisely, that will be the leitmotiv of his seminar: ‘An Introduction to Mechanism Design’.
