Immediate actions of the UV
Adjournment of the enrolment fee payment for the affected students
The UV has made it possible to request deferring in the payment of the registration fee for the students affected by the DANA. The request can be presented until December 7 at 11:59 p.m
Volunteering in the ground zero
The University of Valencia has launched a volunteer program to support areas affected by the DANA, providing transportation and coordination so volunteers can assist with cleaning and aid efforts in the most affected municipalities.
Cession of lecture rooms for schools and high schools
The UV has put at the Generalitat Valenciana’s disposal its building at Carrer Alcalde Reig in Valencia, currently dedicated to the Master’s degree in Secondary education, which was, in the past, the Primary School Education School “Ausiàs March”.
The teaching activity of the Lluís Vives School from Massanassa will be carried out in this building.

UV actions aimed at university community
Grants for UV people affected by the DANA
The UV has destined 1.600.000 euros from its budget to a special call for grants in order to attend the situations caused by the DANA to students that are enrolled in official courses of the Universitat de València in the academic year 2024-2025.
Equipment support for UV people affected by the DANA
People with specific needs for equipment and other materials, such as laptops or Wi-Fi connection devices, in order to continue their studies or resume work, may apply for a loan through the form enabled for this purpose.
Free legal advice programme

Free Psychological care programme
The UV has made the mental health services of the Psychological Clinic available free of charge to all affected members of the university community. Seeking this support is encouraged if needed.
- Students must fill the form available in the SEDI website.
- The UV staff, through the survey available on the website of Servei de Prevenció i Medi Ambient (SPAMA).

La Clínica Podològica de la Universitat de València oferix quiropòdies gratuïtes per a les persones afectades i implicades en la DANA. És fonamental rebre un tractament de les afeccions del peu i les ungles
Support for mobility
In order to facilitate the mobility of the members of the university community after the DANA, the company Ciclogreen offers the University of Valencia a free car-sharing service.

Restoration of contemporary artwork
Three spaces have been set up to rescue and stabilise contemporary art collections affected by the DANA. Technical and human resources are coordinated in collaboration with other entities, as well as actions to recover the studios of affected artists.
Aid funds for affected musicians
The initiative #UVajuda also seeks to raise funds for the recovery and support of the university community and musical organisations that have been affected by the DANA.
