The University of Valencia has launched a volunteer program to support areas affected by the DANA, providing transportation and coordination so volunteers can assist with cleaning and aid efforts in the most affected municipalities.
The UV has put at the Generalitat Valenciana’s disposal its building at Carrer Alcalde Reig in Valencia, currently dedicated to the Master’s degree in Secondary education, which was, in the past, the Primary School Education School “Ausiàs March”.
The teaching activity of the Lluís Vives School from Massanassa will be carried out in this building.

The UV has destined 1.600.000 euros from its budget to a special call for grants in order to attend the situations caused by the DANA to students that are enrolled in official courses of the Universitat de València in the academic year 2024-2025.
People with specific needs for equipment and other materials, such as laptops or Wi-Fi connection devices, in order to continue their studies or resume work, may apply for a loan through the form enabled for this purpose.

Three spaces have been set up to rescue and stabilise contemporary art collections affected by the DANA. Technical and human resources are coordinated in collaboration with other entities, as well as actions to recover the studios of affected artists.
The initiative #UVajuda also seeks to raise funds for the recovery and support of the university community and musical organisations that have been affected by the DANA.
