Master's Degree in Interculturalism and Communication Policies in the Information Society

To start with, these are the requirements and procedures for the selection of candidates:
1. Requirements.
a. To hold one of the following degrees (or equivalent studies in case of foreign applicants):
• Audiovisual Communication.
• Journalism.
• Advertising and Public Relations.
b.To hold an university degree other than those mentioned above. In this case, candidates must undertake an educational complement worth of 24 credits associated to these academic contents: Communication theory, Communication structures and cultural industries, History of communication, Journalistic genres. These studies will be assessed during the teaching programme and on the basis of student assignments. This ongoing evaluation will be complemented by a practical assignment about one of the academic contents, in which students should put in practice the acquired knowledge.
2. Admission criteria.
The selection of candidates, who fulfill the requirements mentioned above, will be done according to the following criteria:
a. Academic records.
b. Cover letter, describing the candidate’s interest in the master’s profile.
c. Curriculum vitae.
d. Language Skills.
