Dr. Vásquez Boyer is a graduate from the Faculty of Law and Political Science (1981), has a Magíster in Law excelling at Penal Science from the same Faculty of Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos in 2024 and is a Law and Political Science Doctor by Universidad Nacional de Trujillo (UNT) in 2010.
He has dedicated himself as a profesor in Universidad Nacional de Trujillo full-time and has directed Penal Law and Penal Procedures courses. He has also been elected as a member of the Faculty Council many times.
He has been working as Principal of Universidad Nacional de Trujillo in 11 March 2020. He lead towards virtual lessons throughout the pandemic and putting the spotlight on UNT for the community with various actions to fight and prevent the harsh consequences of the pandemic in our home.
He is a honor member of the La Plata Bar Association of Argentina since 1995.
He is also a distinguished member of the Latin-American Institute of Integration and Development (ILID), the Latin-American Union of Writers and Artists (ULEA) and Perú’s Movimiento Pacifista (1998).
He was declared distinguished visitor in 1997 by Huaraz municipality.
He was Dean of the La Libertad Bar Association from 1997 to 1998.
Our superior studies Principal has participated in national and international congresses about penal law as guest speaker and organiser.
He was Dean of the Faculty of Law and Political Science of the UNT between 2011 and 2014.
As the Principal of the UNT in 2020, Dr. Vásquez Boyer was awarded with the “Dr. José Montenegro Baca” of the La Libertad Bar Association for his merits and career in law firms and institutions.
He was awarded the Doctor Honoris Causa by the Universidad Nacional de Tumbes in October 2022 for his personal, profesional and academic merits for the university education in his country.
He was hired as honor profesor in Universidad Nacional Santiago Antúnez de Mayolo (UNASAM) in June 2023, in Huaraz, for his merits and career as well as his contributions for the education of the students of the UNASAM Faculty of Law and Political Science.
