
Short story which narrates the relationship between an old master and his young disciple with images which follow the ShanShui style (山水), a style of Chinese painting which shows natural scenarios or landscapes, with brush and ink, instead of traditional paintings.
A wise master of the guqin (antique Chinese music instrument) is moved along the river by a little girl. At a certain point, the master faints and loses his strength; the girl, worried, takes the master home and takes care of him. When the master starts feeling better, he realizes the girl’s skills for music and decides to teach her how to play the guqin
