My main research is in the development of remote sensing methods for the assessment and monitoring of essential vegetation variables in the fields of environment, ecology, agriculture, climate change and global change. I have been leading the development of the operational algorithms for the retrieval of biophysical variables from satellite data for the Copernicus Global Land Service i Copernicus Climate Change Service, among others.
