THE OPEN HOUSE VALENCIA 2022 EDITION HAS BEEN INAUGURATED, AT THE UNIVERSITAT DE VALÈNCIA

In the Faculty of Geography-History of the University of Valencia, the edition of Open House València was inaugurated on October 19, 2022. Architecture Festival. On this occasion with the participation of the University of Valencia.
A proposal of open doors to the architecture of the city of Valencia. With an extensive program that visits more than 50 buildings, 10 urban routes and two concerts, in addition to numerous other activities.

This weekend Open House València celebrates its fourth edition by opening the doors of buildings as emblematic as the Town Hall, the Caixaforum, Velos e Vientos, the Jesuit church or the Central Market. Or a route through the Blasco Ibañez Campus with the buildings of Moreno Barberá of the University of Valencia. The program is completed by 10 thematic urban routes through the city, among which the Turia Gardens, Goerlich's urban planning or the Islamic wall stand out.

The event was inaugurated by the Dean of the Faculty of Geography-History of the UV, Josep Montesinos, and by Javier Domínguez, President of the European Landscape Academy and co-founder of Open House València.
Sara Portela, Open House València General Coordinator. Luis Sendra, Dean of the Official College of Architects of the Valencian Community. Juan Cabrera, Director of the Higher Technical School of Architecture of the UPV also participated in the event.and Esther Alba. Vice-rector for Culture and Society of the University of Valencia.

The event was closed by the Second Vice President of the Council and Minister of Housing and Bioclimatic Architecture, Héctor Illueca Ballester.
