At the Faculty of Geography and History this week we return with an activity that values the work that our degrees and research groups are doing at the center in the field of Teaching Innovation. We are referring to the II Conference on the subject that has been organized and promoted by the Arsmaya research group (Department of Art History). With the title: Shared Experiences: the introduction of the gender perspective in the teaching of the History of ancient cultures, this meeting has the objective of gathering and debating throughout an entire Conference on approaches, strategies and didactic resources that make visible the important productive role that women played in past societies. As a novelty with respect to the Conference that the Arsmaya group organized in 2022, the students of various Art History and Archeology subjects, from the University of Valencia and the Complutense University of Madrid, will be the main protagonists of this Conference, because they will show us the audiovisual pills that worked with a gender approach as part of the activities that have been evaluated during the first four-month period of this 2022-2023 academic year, all of them linked to the teaching of the Arsmaya group researchers.
