Blog Service
The Information Technology Service provides the university community with a Blog Service based on WordPress, allowing any member of the University of Valencia (students, academic staff, and administrative and technical staff) to have a personal space where they can publish articles and content without needing any prior knowledge of website creation.
Our blog is public by default and can be accessed through a URL on the Internet.
Example: https://username.blogs.uv.es, where username is your University of Valencia username.
Each blog is administered and maintained by its owner, who agrees that the content will never be commercial in nature, as it is intended to be a personal blog. Users may publish posts, pages, images, links, and all kinds of multimedia content.
The appearance of the blog is chosen by the user from a catalog of templates provided and pre-approved by the Information Technology Service. Therefore, users select their preferred template and are mainly responsible for publishing content (and, to a lesser extent, for the design). A number of plugins and widgets are also available to provide additional functionality and added value to the blog.
