The BBVA Foundation has just granted ERI Reading funding for the project "Neuroeducational research on the effect of superiority of paper (NEUROPAPEL)", within the framework of the call "Aids to Scientific Research Teams Economics and Digital Society 2018". The project is directed by Professor Ladislao Salmerón, and professors Marta Vergara, Cristina Vargas, Laura Gil, and doctoral student Pablo Delgado are part of it. The project is two years long, and will try to find the causes of the phenomenon of the superiority of paper (we understand better on paper than in digital), as well as to test learning strategies to improve digital reading comprehension.
