The Educative Innovation Unit of the University of Valencia, created by consent of the Governing Council March 26, 2009, belongs to the Centre for Education and Quality “Manuel Sanchis Guarner”, located in Tarongers Campus. Dating December 20, 2011, a new consent of Governing Council has let integrate her to the new Permanent Formation and Educative Innovation Service (SFPIE).
UdIE (Educative Innovation Unit)’s field of action is the improvement and efficiency of the learning processes of the UV in the European Higher Education Area’s framework, by developing the courses of action already begun in previous years from the Convergence Office by means of educative innovation callings and educative innovation plans.
Programs and initiatives that merge in the UdIE are, among others, the help callings for the teaching innovation within the teaching staff, the ESTIC program for the encouragement of the use of new technologies among students, the Open Course Ware, and the @tic magazine.
