The VERIFICA programme assesses the proposals for the curriculums of the degrees designed in line with the European Higher Education Area (EHEA).
The Royal Decree 822/2021, of September 28, by which the organization of university education and the procedure to ensure its quality is established, decides that can only participate in the processes for verification the ANECA and the assessment bodies that the Autonomous communities’ Law decides and that meets the requirements and quality standards established by the European Commission, by the achievement of an external evaluation that allows them to be full-fledged members of the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (EAQAHE), and to be enrolled in the European Quality Assurance Register (EQAR).
With the objective of achieving the greatest possible consensus, the assessment protocol for verification has been drafted within the Spanish Network of University Quality Agencies (REACU). Each agency applies this protocol when it comes to assessing the proposals of degrees and masters on which it must issue a previous assessment mandatory report by the Universities Council.
The verification documents of the different degrees are available at the offer sheets of the degree and master’s degree, in the Quality section and, specifically, in the Verification tab.
