  • It has been confirmed the increasing convergence of media and screens, that will influence the production value chain, and the audiovisual creation and consumption. Contents are multi-platform.
  • This multi-platform character built a transmedia narrative. This adds new situations and characters, that form a continuous and interconnected narrative.
  • The economic and financial crisis affected the audiovisual industry, specially the television public service concept, which has been decreased and questioned. Big companies continued having benefits, but that has not reverted into the entire audiovisual system, which has necessarily to readapt itself.
  • The need of the public television has been defended, specially accessible, in an increasingly globalised scenario, given its role as a proof of cultural and linguistic diversity.
  • It has been tried to stablish a public television independent from the political power with the necessary instruments to guarantee its impartiality and rigour, with an efficient and sustainable management, a plural and quality television that, in the end, answers the need of the represented citizens.
  • A higher participation of the citizens in the design and management on how future public televisions should be has been demanded.
  • There is a need of an effective regulatory framework, that allows to offer a plural radio-television service, where public and private interests coexist on equal terms.
  • It has been defended the importance of audiovisual contents in this always changing media scenario. In the end, what is important are stories, the storytelling, regardless of the screen we use to access.
  • Users interact more and more with contents. The audiovisual contents it is no longer only individual or familiar and became to be social since it is shared, commented, discussed.
  • It is convenient to focus on the users and to know which are their concerns. But without forgetting the training and informational character of the audiovisual product.
  • It has been proven the importance of scientific and cultural contents, that need visibility in an every time more complex and competitive environment. Game rules, in any case, have changed. We are in the age of the prosumers.
  • We focus on cooperation, team work, new relational ways, as well as on talent, creativity and innovation, specially represented in students and future professionals, as the main engine of the necessary changes and transformations contributing to build a better society.
