In addition to the general admission requirements, the University has established, for each Master, specific admission requirements and assessment of specific merits of the University Master’s degree.

In particular, those used in the Master’s Degree in History of Art and Visual Culture are as follows:

  • Degree, taking into account the similarity of the student academic profile with the specialty of the Master’s Degree. Those students coming from the Degree or Licenciatura (Spanish former undergraduate degree) in History of Art, History and Heritage, Audiovisual Communication and Fine Arts, and other related degrees will be taken into consideration. (20%).
  • Average grade of the student academic record. (30%).
  • Collaboration grants, initiation to research and research. (3%).
  • Publications. (20%).
  • Supplementary training in the area of study of the Master’s degree or Doctoral studies. (5%).
  • Professional experience related to the contents of the master. (5%).
  • Knowledge of languages. (12%). In this case, please consult the table of equivalence of languages accreditations of the University of Valencia.
  • Cover letter (3%).
  • Passing an admission test In that sense, the student should pass a personal interview or submit a letter of motivation justifying his/her interest or motivation to enroll in the Master’s Degree. (2%).
