Two or more universities, Spanish or foreign, are designing a joint curriculum. Thus, a single official Master’s degree is obtained, which will be implemented and jointly issued by all participating universities.
The master’s degree studies aims to transmit the knowledge and skills developed by the discipline in its century and a half of academic institutionalization to the graduates in History of Art or of other related disciplines. This acquisition is essential for understanding and evaluating critically both the artistic object and its creation process. Given that the licenciatura (Spanish former undergraduate degree) (and even more undergraduate degree studies) offer generalist backgrounds, postgraduate studies are the ideal framework for a specialised training defined with excellence academic criteria and scientific interest.
