Participation in the Internal Competition and the Principal’s Trophy allows students to obtain one ECTS credit per season. Participation in the External Competition: CADU (Campeonatos Autonómicos Universitarios), CEU (Campeonatos de España Universitario) and University International Championships, representing the UV, allows obtaining 1,5 ETCS per season. These credits may be accumulated each season for those athletes who participate in both levels of the competitions and who fulfil the requirements specified for each of them.

Conditions for the recognition of ECTS in team sports

Internal competitions:

have played at least the 80% of matches played by the team, in the corresponding academic course.

If a team is kicked out of the competitions due to infringements to the regulations, all of its components lose their chance to get credits.

Players who carry out serious infringements of the regulations may be penalised, losing their possibility of obtaining their participating credits.

CADU and Spanish University championships

It is required a positive assessment of the trainer regarding participation and involvement of the athlete in the team of the Universitat de València.

Conditions to obtain ETCS in individual sports

Internal Competition: The internal regulations for each internal competition specifies the requirements to be fulfilled in order to obtain credits. For a competition to be valid, the athlete should be listed in the Internal Competition official results.

Players who carry out serious infringements of the regulations may be penalised, losing their possibility of obtaining their participating credits.

CADU and Spanish University championships It is required to be in the state competition and obtain a positive assessment from the coach responsible for the team.
