The Quality Committee of the Centre is the body that develops the planning and monitoring of the Internal Quality Assurance System (SGIC), acting also as one of the conductors of internal communication of the policy, objectives, plans, programmes, responsibilities, and achievements of this system. Among its functions are the following:

  • Verifying the planning of the SGIC of the Centre, so the compliance of the general requirements of the SGIC Manual, of the Policy and Quality Goals and the requirements referred to in the corresponding certification and verification guides.
  • Proposing and reviewing the Policy and General objectives of the Quality of the Centre and informing to the entire community.
  • Proposing and coordinating the formulation of the annual objectives of the Centre and developing the monitoring of its implementation.
  • Monitoring the effectiveness of procedures through the indicators and evidences associated to the same. Thus, all procedures conclude with an assessment and improvement proposals which should be reviewed annually.
  • Receiving information of the Dean or Director on the projects of the modification of the organisation chart.
  • Monitoring of the implementation of the corrective and/or preventive actions arising from the review of the system, of the response actions to suggestions, claims and complaints. And, in general, from all the procedures.
  • To develop the implementation of the improvement proposals of the *SGIQ suggested in the processes proposed in the *SGIQ.
  • Deciding the periodicity and duration, within its competences of the processes gathered on the satisfaction surveys of the interest groups.
  • It receives information by the Quality Coordinator of the results of the satisfactory surveys and it propose criteria for considering improvement proposals which may arise from those results.
  • Monitoring of information and reporting to the educational community, generally to the Centre Board, the assessment and improvement processes which have been carried out.
