Functions
According to the UV Regulations on Official Postgraduate Studies, the Master's Academic Coordination Committee (C.C.A.) shall assume the following responsibilities for academic and teaching planning, coordination and supervision:
- To prepare the proposal for the organisation of the academic year (number of groups, allocation of modules or subjects to departments and fields of knowledge, language, timetable distribution, etc.), taking into account the criteria established by the Governing Council.
- To promote educational innovation and teaching quality improvement processes.
- To coordinate the different departments and teaching staff with assigned teaching duties to ensure a balanced distribution of students' workload.
- To propose to the Postgraduate Studies Committee the authorisation of external professionals or researchers who are not university lecturers to collaborate in the Master's programme and to assign them the corresponding teaching duties.
- To report on student applications for admission to Master's studies, in accordance with the specific admission requirements and merit-assessment criteria established in the Verified Report.
- To report on applications for credit recognition.
- To coordinate the course guides for the development of the educational programme and ensure the compatibility of the different proposals and their coherence with the curriculum design.
- Any other functions assigned by the regulations in force.
