To promote and academically supervise external academic placements, in coordination with the academic committees of the degree programmes attached to the Centre.

In accordance with the Regulations on External Academic Placements of the Universitat de València (ACGUV 213/2024), the functions of the Centre Placements Committee are as follows:

• To organise and coordinate the training placements for each degree programme in the Centre.
• To propose placement programme templates to the committees of each degree programme in the Centre for approval.
• To assess the placement offers received and assign them to the relevant fields of knowledge.
• To approve the annual placement offer for each degree programme.
• To establish the procedures and criteria for allocating placement offers to students.
• Where appropriate, to establish the procedure for allocating external placements to students participating in mobility and double-degree programmes, in accordance with the provisions, where applicable, of the programme report approved by the Governing Council.
• To issue reports on applications for recognition of professional activity as external academic placements.
• To establish the maximum number of teaching credits assigned to academic supervision within the framework of the Universitat de València regulations governing it.
• To prepare and approve the reports required to comply with the Internal Quality Assurance System.
• To propose to the committees of each degree programme in the Centre a procedure for awarding the highest distinction (matrícula de honor) in curricular placements.
• Any other functions established as necessary to ensure the proper functioning of placements.
