El próximo 5 de diciembre de 2025 de 10:30 hs a 12:00 hs se llevará a cabo la conferencia “New Directions in Professional Psychology and Citizen Science: Moving Toward Sustainability”, impartida de manera presencial en el aula A6 de la Facultad de Psicología por la Dr. Alessandra Bianchi, de la Universidad de Paraná, Brasil.

Resumen: In this talk, Dr. Alessandra Bianchi will discuss on how psychology and citizen science can open new ways of thinking about sustainability. Drawing from her work, she will show how collaborative approaches help connect communities with research. The session will also touch on experiences from various countries, where questions of transport policy, sustainability and environmental justice are strongly present, pointing to directions where professional psychology may contribute to sustainable futures.

 Bio: Dr. Alessandra Bianchi is Full Professor at the Federal University of Paraná(Brazil) and a specialist in social psychology, urban health, and sustainability. Professor Bianchi has extensive experience in international, mixed-method studies on environmental behavior and health, with notable work on transport policies and environmental justice in Latin America and Europe.
