El martes 20 de junio se llevarán a cabo las siguientes conferencias presenciales en inglés dentro del Programa de Internacionalización a casa de la Facultad de Psicología y Logopedia.
- 10:00-12:00 (Salón de Grados). "Personality at work in sport across geographic borders: Perfectionism, motivational needs and performance views in Spanish and Italian athletes" (Arnaldo Zelli y Luca Mallia, University of Sport and Movement Sciences of Rome).
Resumen: The presentation will briefly overview personality and motivational frameworks traditionally called upon in behavioral research. It will then summarize the goals, the design, the findings and the implications of an investigation focusing on perfectionism and performance views among Italian and Spanish athletes. The investigation overall proposes that perfectionism influences athletes’ performance views by shaping their motivational experiences.
- 11:30-13:30 (Aula 7). “Technologizing Well-Being Interventions: Effects on Teachers and Students’ Optimal Psychological Outcomes” (Dr. Jesus Alfonso D. Datu y Dr. Jana Patricia M. Valdez, Universidad de Educación de Hong Kong).
Resumen: The rapid advancements in technological platforms have changed the landscape of conceptualizing, delivering, and evaluating well-being interventions. However, a critical issue remains on whether these technologically administered well-being initiatives are better than traditionally facilitated happiness-enhancing interventions. In this sharing, we discuss existing evidence on leveraging different technological media for bolstering teachers’ and students’ well-being. Examples of empirical studies that explored the impacts of such innovative well-being platforms on key psychological and well-being outcomes are elaborated Yet, the potential caveats of adopting technologies in the delivery of well-being initiatives are described. Future theoretical and research directions are charted.
Las conferencias están abiertas a todo el alumnado y profesorado de la Facultad de Psicología y Logopedia i no requieren inscripción.
