On September 7–8, 2026, the consortium for the Horizon EU-funded EYE-TEACH project met at the Faculty of Psychology and Speech Therapy at the University of Valencia for a progress meeting. It was an excellent opportunity for partners to gather, share project updates, review progress made to date, and plan the next steps for EYE-TEACH. The EYE-TEACH project aims to develop Artificial Intelligence-based solutions to interpret students' reading development by analyzing their eye movements. At the University of Valencia, the consortium is led by Professor Lalo Salmerón—from the Department of Developmental and Educational Psychology and the ERI-Reading research institute—alongside a team of researchers that includes Cristina Vargas, Francesca Zermiani, and Inés Martí, among others.
