
The Faculty of Psychology and Speech Therapy of the Universitat de València held the graduation ceremonies for the 2022-2026 cohorts of the degrees in Speech Therapy and Psychology on 11 July, in the Auditorium of the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía. The event brought together students, families, teaching staff, institutional representatives and representatives of the respective professional associations in one of the most significant academic celebrations of the year.
The ceremony for the Degree in Speech Therapy opened the day. Professors Ágata Lorenzo and Clara Puig, chosen by the students, took part as sponsors of the cohort, together with Laura Montalva García, representing the Col·legi Oficial de Logopedes de la Comunitat Valenciana.
The graduation ceremony for the Degree in Psychology took place afterwards. The cohort was accompanied by Professor Raúl Espert as sponsor and Professor Selene Valero as sponsor. Vicenta Esteve Biot, secretary of the Col·legi Oficial de Psicologia de la Comunitat Valenciana, also took part on behalf of the professional association.
Both ceremonies included speeches by student representatives, teaching staff from the degrees, academic officers of the Universitat de València and representatives of the professional associations. The ceremonies also included the traditional awarding of academic sashes, as well as the institutional speeches by the Dean of the Faculty of Psychology and Speech Therapy, Antonio Ferrer, and the Vice-Rector for Innovation and Transfer, José María Montiel.
The graduation ceremonies symbolise the culmination of a university education stage marked by effort, learning and personal growth. They also represent the beginning of a new relationship with professions committed to health, wellbeing, communication and improving people’s quality of life.
The Faculty of Psychology and Speech Therapy congratulates all graduates of the 2022-2026 cohorts in Psychology and Speech Therapy and wishes them every success in their personal and professional future.
