On 26 June, the Ontinyent Campus of the University of Valencia hosted the graduation ceremony for the 2026 class of the University Master’s Degree in General Health Psychology. The event was held jointly with the graduation ceremonies for the bachelor’s degrees in Business Administration and Management and Nursing.
The ceremony brought together students, teaching staff, families, and representatives of the university community and Ontinyent institutions. The academic panel was chaired by the rector of the University of Valencia, Juan Luis Gandía, and included, among other authorities, the mayor of Ontinyent, Jorge Rodríguez; the president of Caixa Ontinyent, José Pla; the director of the Ontinyent Campus, José Cantó; and the deans of the faculties responsible for the participating degree programmes.
The Faculty of Psychology and Speech Therapy was represented by its dean, Antonio Ferrer, who accompanied the new graduates at a particularly significant moment in their academic and professional careers.
Professor Eva Rel, sponsor of the graduating class of the University Master’s Degree in General Health Psychology, addressed the students before the presentation of diplomas. Her speech highlighted the importance of the training they had received and the responsibility involved in professional practice in the field of General Health Psychology.
The members of the graduating class then took to the stage to receive their diplomas. The ceremony provided an opportunity to publicly recognise the effort, dedication and commitment they had shown throughout the master’s degree, as well as the contribution of the teaching and administrative staff who make it possible to offer this programme at the Ontinyent Campus.
The student representative subsequently spoke on behalf of the new graduates in General Health Psychology, sharing their educational experience and the knowledge and skills acquired during this stage.
The Faculty of Psychology and Speech Therapy congratulates all members of the 2026 graduating class and wishes them every success in their professional careers.
