
Students from the Faculty participate in BIP course in Finland: “Understanding research methodologies in neurocognitive processes of reading: EEG & eye-tracking”
During the week of May 4-8, 2026, a group of undergraduate, master's, and doctoral students from the Faculty of Psychology and Speech Therapy at the University of Valencia (UV) participated in the BIP course “Understanding research methodologies in neurocognitive processes of reading: EEG & eye-tracking,” which took place at the University of Jyväskylä (Finland). The course was organized by professors Susannah Otieno-Leppänen (University of Jyväskylä), Sara Mascheretti (University of Pavia), Chiara Pecini (University of Florence), and Lalo Salmerón (University of Valencia). During the course, the students participated in practical workshops, lectures, and seminars on neuroscience and reading, collaborating with students from the organizing universities. They also had the opportunity to participate in recreational and cultural activities.
