The Languages Policy Service offers different services to help you improving your command of Catalan and English and to acquire communicative skills in other languages such as French and German. It also offers grants and prizes and runs campaigns to promote language parity and plurilingualism.

TRANSLATION, INTERPRETING AND PROOFREADING
We also offer translation, interpreting and proofreading services, both for the university community and for companies requiring these services.
LINGUISTIC ADVICE FOR SPEAKERS AND LECTURERS
The Centre also offers a new language consultancy service for speakers and lecturers who have to give a presentation in a foreign language, with sessions aimed at perfecting pronunciation and revising the documents to be used at the conference.
SPACE FOR HIRE
The Centre has 20 classrooms with movable walls to create spaces of greater capacity and versatility, an assembly hall with a capacity for 100 people open to the holding of company events, and it also has multi-purpose and ambivalent spaces for workshops, exhibitions, etc. Contact for rental: contactocdi@uv.es
Confucius Institute
This institute aims to promote the study of the Chinese language and be the centre for teacher and student exchanges. The institute currently offers Chinese: language, culture and society and Chinese: language, culture and business for professionals. Japanese language courses are also offered.
