The degree in Audiovisual Communication provides a precise and in-depth knowledge of the different languages (photography, cinema, television, radio, video, multimedia supports, etc.) and media that constitute the audiovisual fact, as well as the study of the origin and development of each of these media and languages. In addition, it provides its students with a thorough training in the techniques and processes of audiovisual creation, production and dissemination in its various phases, and shows the interrelations between the subjects of audiovisual communication: creators, institutions, companies, media, supports and audiences.
The degree is supported by the Taller d’Audiovisuals (Audiovisual Workshop, TAU), where practical and theoretical-practical classes take place. The TAU includes specific sets for photography, radio, television, video, cinema, and design and production of interactive contents. This degree prepares students for the analysis and creation of all types of audiovisual products: cinema, television, radio and multimedia.
