Conference in the Botanical Garden of Valencia.
The Article 9 of Law 11/1994 of 27 December, of the Valencian Government, establishing that “Municipal natural protected sites will be those areas covered by one or more municipalities that have special natural values of local interest requiring protection, preservation and improvement and are declared as such upon the request of the local authorities”. These areas, characterised by their municipal management, protect local goods that as a general rule are located very close to citizens. So this, beyond the undeniable desire to preserve natural and scenic values, can generate social, economical and cultural issues that affect directly people and their activities.
