The conference tackles topics related to social economy. Researchers from the Universitat de València have question whether social companies can help town halls comply with their social and working policies. They all agree that cooperatives and other companies within the Law for Social Economy are better in local service provision as well as for the promotion of occupation in the territory. They are regarded as intermediaries between market and direct provision of public services and along with the right money and effort, they generate more occupation and richness.
