On 30 November 2017 the evaluation committee for the resolution of the 13th Demetrio Ribes Award for Research met.

After a long deliberation period, it was agreed to bestow the awar of 6 000 € upon the paper presented by Lourdes Boix Macías titled El legado cartográfico valenciano a través de la mirada de la Real Sociedad Económica de Amigos del País de València (The Valencian cartographic legacy through the eyes of the Real Sociedad Económica de Amigos del País de València).
