Next Friday 29 October the 4th Interdisciplinary Studies Workshop on the History of Public Works will take place and will have the title of 'Germaníes (1519-1523) i infraestructures: concomitances (Brotherhoods and infrastructures: concomitances).
The event will take place in the morning of 29 October at the Conference room of the Faculty of Geography and History of the Universitat de València and will include renowed experts in the subject, such as Luis Arciniega García, Vicent Terol, Tomás Peris Albentosa, Magdalena Cerdà and Antònia Juan Vicens Mallorca.
Presentation
Construction, destruction, transformation, strategic relevance or simbolic value of the infrastructures of the conflict of the Brotherhoods of the kingdoms of València and Mallorca, are some of the concepts to consider in this academic meeting organised by the Demetrio Ribes Chair which will have renowed experts. Tomás Peris Albentosa, Vicent Terol (Arxiu Municipal d’Ontinyent), Magdalena Cerdà (Universitat Illes Balears), Antònia Juan Vicens (Universitat Illes Balears) and Luis Arciniega (UVEG) will adress topics such as the relevance of ways of communication, the role of hidraulic infrastructures, the emotive transcendence of some elements only preserved through documentation or the exercise of the constructuive labour in said conjuncture.
The 4th Interdisciplinary Studies Workshop on the History of Public Works, 'Germaníes (1519-1523) i infraestructures: concomitances (Brotherhoods and infrastructures: concomitances) will take place on the morning of Friday 29 October in the Conference room of the Faculty of Geography and History of the Universitat de València, in a hybrid form (blended format and online).
