Guided visit with Dr Luis Arciniega, person responsible for the exhibition, on Friday 11 April 2025, 11:00 a.m., Museo del Mar of Dènia.

Inauguration of the exhibition 'De temor y Seda' ('Of Fear and Silk'), magnifcent event about the supply system from the 16th century onwards, of a complex defensive system, funded thanks to a special tax on silk. The Torre del Gerro (Gerro Tower), connected to the Castell (Castle), are part of our visual and historical patrimony, linked to the sea and to the coast guard.

Dr Luis Arciniega, director of the Demetrio Ribes Chair of the Universitat de València, is the person responsible for the exhibition and will present it on Friday 11 April at 11:00 a.m. in the Museo del Mar as well as a guided visit. 

The exhibition in Dénia will remain open until October 2025 (11/04/2025 - 06/10/2025).
