'Passos a nivell: encreuament sobre ferro i asfalt' ('Level Crossing: Intersections Over Iron and Asphalt') adresses the transformation and the passage of time of this railway structures through varied archive documentation and historical images.

A level crossing is an intersection on the same level between a railway and a path where the first one always have priority before vehicles and pedestrians. 

Its crossing has always entailed danger. To minimize it, protection and signposting systems have evolved throughout time and since the eighties of the twentieth century there has been a tendency to suppression. However, there are still some places without a lot of traffic. 

From a visual perspective, this exhibition delves into the historical evolution of this intersections of the Valencian territory, highlighting its social and technical aspects.
