This forum will take place on 17 June 2005 at the La Nau building.

The Demetrio Ribes Chair aims to reflect on the contribution of these museums as well as the future projects by holding the forum 'Museos para la ciencia, la técnica, la industria y el transporte' (Museums for Science, Technique, Industry and Transport). This forum's objective is to analyse the role those museums take in society. In addition to this, it intends to divulge the functioning and management of the different fields of museology in Spain, through the analysis of the contribution of new museums to traditional museology and viceversa.
