'Eix' is an educational biannual publication which intends to disseminate information on scientific patrimony and culture. The journal is published by the National Museum of Science and Technique of Catalonia (MNACTEC) and its Territorial System.
The publication adresses the topics of industrial and scientific patrimony, industrial tourism, world industrial patrimony and it aids to disseminate the work of the museums of the Territorial System of the MNACTEC. 'Eix' has an educational tone to get to the general public, offering content in a simple, modern and rigorous way.

From 2003 to 2017, Inmaculada Aguilar directed the Demetrio Ribes Chair of the Universitat de Vlaència, where she taught. A chair that promotes research, dissemination and promotion of the studies on transport history and its infrastructures, public work and engineering in the Valencian Community. With Aguilar we are reminded of the value of these elements of the territory because without them the industry would be unfeasible.
