AGUILAR CIVERA, Inmaculada; BOLINCHES MARTÍNEZ, Laura
València: Council of Housing, Public Works and Territory Planning , 2014. LlibreThis publication of Demetrio Ribes Chair focuses on one of the most wellknown architecture elements of the Valencian dock: The Clock Building. It is included in the third volume of the commemorative series of the Valencian dock buildings, right after the modern shed and the commercial docks.
The text is divided in two theme blocks. The first one, by Inmaculada Aguilar, presents the projects, makers and process of the primitive marine station, locating it within the context of the docks creation. The second one, by Laura Bolinches, focuses on the transformations of the building from its reconstruction after the Spanish Civil War until the restoration during the 21st century.
